To ensure the safety of our visitors and help maintain facility availability for the public during the daytime, large group reservations will be accepted on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only.

Who needs a group pass?

• Any large group, such as a day care, school group, and/or special interest group is required to receive a large group pass to visit The Homestead.

For what days and times are passes available?

• Large group passes are available for all groups on Mondays and Wednesdays, and on Fridays for Washington Township groups only. Passes are available during one of two time periods: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Groups may visit the park up to six times per season.

Park facility availability

• Picnic pavilions at The Homestead are on a first-come first-served basis if not reserved.
• Residents of Washington, Norwich, and Brown Townships may reserve pavilions for a fee.

Group Reservation Procedure

• Call the park office at (614) 652-3922 to reserve a date and time. Once your reservation has been made, a staff member will send you a group pass.
• Upon arrival, bring your pass to the office and sign in your group on the registration book and pick up a parking permit.
• After unloading, please park buses in the back parking lot.
• Group leaders must return to park office to sign group out upon exiting the park and return their parking permit.

Please follow these guidelines while enjoying the park

• Adults must accompany children to the play areas and remain with them at all times.
• Vehicles must park in designated parking areas.
• Changing facilities are not available. Restrooms must remain open for their intended use.
• Please dispose of your trash in the receptacles provided throughout the park.
• All pets must be on a leash and you must clean up after your pet.
• Be respectful of the facilities and structures by using them as they are intended.
• Follow all rules posted for specific areas of the park.
• Due to high-powered electric lines, kite flying is not permitted.
