Extinguisher training is offered to area businesses and residents upon request. A short lecture and film on types of extinguishers and procedures for extinguishing incipient fires are followed by a practice session with real fire. A specially designed fire simulator provides a safe means by which participants can get experience in the proper use of fire extinguishers under live fire conditions.
